The story behind her songs
Marnie released 3 singles in 2020: “Insomnia”, “I Let You Go” and “Beautiful Ruin” She’s a Hamburg based independent artist and writes English pop music, mostly autobiographical, often inspired through the people around her.
Her sound is reminiscent of artists like Sia, Pink, and Lady Gaga. Their music has slight darkness and coolness. She believes life is a constant learning process and works through her songs as if they were a process of change. She tells stories that most people can relate to. The process is accompanied by change; changes are uncertainties and what is not more topical than that in this pandemic situation.
